General – Formula cars patterned after those raced in the Formula 1 World Championship during the late 1980’s

Cars – NSR Formula 86/89

Motors – NSR King EVO3 21.5K only (no other substitutes)

Motor Downforce – maximum 35 grams

Build rules – cars are run NSR factory stock using only the parts supplied with the car or their direct and/or equal NSR factory replacements

chassis [#1609 EVO/black – medium],

front tires [#5283 slick],

gears [pinion 10T x 5.5mm - #6810 or #7010/spur 27T inline - #6327AL or #6327BR],

guides [#4841/4843/4844/4845],

motors [#3023/King 21K EVO3], 

pods [#1283/red – extra hard],

screw suspension kit [#4878],

wheels [front 13mm x 8mm - #5020/rear 13mm x 10mm - #5026], etc.),

configured as in-line only using the stock 10/27 gear ratio.  Cars may be tuned by shimming the guide, using added weight, adjusting the front end and pod screw settings, adding the spring suspension kit (#1216/1217/1218), and/or replacing the steel body and suspension screws with the appropriate sized NSR brass 2.2mm x 6.5mm or 8mm brass types.  (Note: the upper set screws for front wheel/axle adjustment may require replacement with 2.5mm x 3mm or 4mm set screws.)  Rear tires to be used are the Quick Slicks #NR001 only.  Width at wheels: front – not to exceed 2.675”/rear – not to exceed 2.650”.  NSR above listed guides only.
