MRRC – Chaparral 2C, Chaparral 2F, Cheetah, Cobra (Shelby AC), Ford GT MK IV, Kellison, Shelby King Cobra, Porsche 910, Porsche 911.
Revell Monogram – Chaparral 2C, Ferrari 250 GTO, Ferrari 275P, Shelby King Cobra, Porsche 904.
Note: not all releases of the cars listed above are configured using the “Sebring” type chassis and attention should be paid when/if purchasing.
Motors – stock FF can.
Motor Downforce – maximum 5 grams.
Build rules – these cars may be run factory stock (including all factory stock parts including the guide, “Sebring” chassis, motor, gears, axles, etc.) with the addition of Indy Grips, Maxxtrac, Quick Slicks, or Super Tires (MRRC – IG2002, M10, ST1204R, ST1901R, or CB28/ Revell – M18, or ST2000R) or updated as follows:
Front tires and wheels must remain factory stock
Any manufacture’s parts may be substituted for the rear axle and bushings (non-offset types only), guide blade, and braid (Note: recommend parts - Slot.it #PA01-45 axle and Slot Car Corner #CP-01010 Bronze Racing Bushings)
Any CB Design 15x7 wheels (rear only) with tires (Indy Grips #IG2002, Maxxtrac #M10, Quick Slicks #CB28, Super Tire #ST1204R or #ST1901R) (Note: recommend parts – CD Design 15x7 Insert Wheels #CBD1000 and the appropriate CG Slotcars wheel inserts if desired)
Stock 9 tooth plastic pinion gear (stock 10 tooth plastic pinion gear for some of the MRRC cars) and Slot.it 27 tooth Offset Inline Crown gear (Note: no substitutions for gears)
Note: as there are differences in the stock wheels supplied with the different cars, tires may not always fit properly and may require the use of “O-rings” to prevent side to side walking of the tire on the rim and/or the rims and tires may require truing. There are a number of different cars still available and below are a few links to the Home Racing World’s website of reviews of the cars including important information about the factory stock gear setups:
