WNR Club-Based Rules

General – Classic Trans-Am U2.0/2.5, FIA Group 2 Touring, and the European Touring Car Championship cars as raced during the ‘60s and ‘70s.

Class Group – Factory Stock

Car(s) – Revolot Alfa Romeo GTA/GTAm, BMW 2002ti, Datsun 510, Ford Escort Mk.I, and Opel Kadett GT/E

Motor(s) – RevoSlot #RS211 21k (factory stock) only

Motor Downforce – maximum 2 grams

Ballast Weight – may be added

Guide – factory stock #RS210 w/spring only, spacers may be added

Tires – front: factory stock #RS216 (may be glued and lightly trued for roundness only – min. dia. = 0.650”)/rear: Quick Slicks #145 only

Wheels – factory stock only (#RS218)

Build rules:

Chassis – factory stock using only the factory supplied parts or their direct factory replacement (Note: “optional” RevoSlot chassis replacement parts not permitted), stock factory gear ratio of 9/24 using RevoSlot gears only (note: some cars have been observed being delivered from the factory with the incorrect gears and must be changed to the correct RevoSlot gears), axle spacers may be added and/or adjusted however wheels and tires must remain fully enclosed by the body at the wheel wells when viewed from above, chassis height may not be lowered, Loctite or a suitable substitute adhesive may be used to secure hardware

Body – factory stock using only the factory supplied interior, rubber body post covers (typically front – black – H 1.0mm/rear – red – H 2.0mm and/or the optional blue – H .5mm or white – H 1.5mm may be used along with spacers to adjust body height); mirrors and windshield wipers are optional; front air dams may require trimming for track clearance; body screws may be run loose for float however may require tape, Loctite, or a suitable substitute adhesive to secure hardware
